Description of cooperation with technical leaders in their field through the eyes of TLC

Expertise to the max. Training for engineers who design tunnels and bridges

It wasn't about textbooks, it was about really understanding the field

In order to really push the SUDOP staff in English and German, we first had to immerse ourselves in their world. To learn their terminology, understand project documentation, technical terms and how engineers communicate with each other. And that was the biggest challenge in the beginning.

Few courses, but high demands on quality

Aktuálně v SUDOPu učíme čtyři kurzy – angličtinu a němčinu.

When language is learned through bridges and drawings

Our lecturers had to go far beyond the usual framework - to master the professional content, to understand the technical context, to adapt the methodology. But they did it. And thanks to this, participants of language courses can now better present their projects, communicate with partners abroad and be even stronger professionals. Language has become their next tool. And we are proud to be there.

How does the client evaluate the course of cooperation?

We have approximately 120 employees working in 8 different professions, so we needed to divide the language courses according to their expertise.

I have personally attended the advanced course and I have to appreciate the approach of the native speakers - they have an excellent knowledge of the language and a great way of teaching.

Our employees are always happy to return to the courses after the summer holidays.

Our main goal was to improve our professional English, which we need especially to focus on foreign markets.

Right from the start we addressed the different language levels among the staff. Together with TLC, we therefore set up a three-tier system of teaching: beginners, intermediate and advanced.

We have been working with TLC for more than 10 years. We employ 120 employees in 8 professions and it was necessary to diversify the courses. That's why we chose a three-tier training where we have a beginner, intermediate and advanced group.
