We offer to our customers standard and on-line tests of all languages within the Czech Republic. Tests are objective and essential for developing course design for groups and individual students. The specific outputs necessary for the overall concept of language training for companies as a whole are of great benefit.
We also offer an independent language audit.
On-line language testing
We have developed our own EXAMS application, which is based on our know-how and years of experience. The application allows testing of English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Czech for foreigners, Chinese and Polish.
Definition of CEFR Language Competence Level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
The CEFR TABLE defines 6 levels of skill and describes the language skills that a listener should control at each level. Below is a general description of the levels used by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
TLC uses its own added level of A0 to further refine the recognition of students’ language level. In this way we refer to courses, or rather their participants who do not have any input knowledge in the given language, therefore, they begin to study the target language. Level A0 is not the official level of the CEFR, so it does not define the knowledge content. A participant completing a level A0 course has the most basic knowledge of the language at the end of the course. They know the basic vocabulary; they can introduce themselves and provide basic information about their person; they can interact in a simple way.
